Your chance to honour Volunteers

Nominations are now being sought for the 2010Pennine ARL Annual Awards which recognise the many varied roles and areas of the amateur game.
This is your time to show your appreciation to volunteers and players who deserve acknowledgement for their efforts. Without your nominations a warranted winner cannot be found, please take time out to put forward you nominations.
The awards evening follows last years successful fully booked event at the magnificent Banqueting Suite ‘Berties’ in Elland. Tickets for the event held on Friday 11th June are available from the Pennine ARL Secretary Sue Taylor and must be pre-ordered to confirm availability. The event will showcase not only individual efforts but also present the divisional and cup winners with their season long gains.
THE CATEGORIES
Divisional Club Person
Nominations are sought for a winner from within each division from Premier to the seventh division. The candidate will have made an exceptional effort into the running of your club and aided in any capacity towards the success of the team/club.
Sportsman of the Year
The candidate will be a player who has played Pennine rugby for this season and has done so in the best sporting manor both on and off the field.
Player of the Year
Nominations are sought for Pennine player of the season, a player who has found exception form that has spanned the season or made an exceptional effort to play to best of his ability.
Coach of the Year
The candidate will have been in a role that has allowed them to improve players ability and learning of the game and in turn improving the performance and moral of the team.
Media Award
Nominations are being sort for volunteers who have helped raise the profile of your club in the local, regional or national community via the means of digital and/or print media.
Team of the Year
The candidate team will have completed the Pennine league season and performed to the best of their ability or achieved plaudits against adversity.
